I began to meditate and learn about visualisation whilst learning about Reiki. Meditation and visualisation has vast benefits and I use these techniques as part of my work with self-empowerment. I am also happy to teach on a one to one basis, or work with groups. Meditation is the art of being relaxed in body yet being focused in mind. We can also use visualisation, which is creating a positive picture that we see in our mind to overcome obstacles and negative beliefs about ourselves. This can help with self-confidence and have a very positive effect on our performance ability. This is not the same as hypnosis. The benefits of meditation are multiple: relaxation, health, inner peace, harmony, self-awareness and inspiration. I use meditation before writing. Many ideas of songs have come from a meditation session. So if you feel that you would like to take control of your mind, rather than your mind controlling you this may be a good place to start, with one to one tuition.
